I am new to this group but not diabetic complications, one is gastroparesis.I have Type 1 and been diabetic 32 years and am 43.I am at the point that I joined a clinical trial for a new drug.Basically the easiest way I found to describe it in my case witch is serve is your stomach is a musle  and slowly stops digesting food .Witch means serve nausea and vomiting the current meds I take are ment for cancer that being zofran and marinol (tlc like in pot) but that is a double edge sword because like pot it makes you hungry and that can get the cycle started all over.I could have gotten a pace maker put in my stomach but like most of us I heal very badly and have had mersa.I hope this helps
