I am looking for tips in using extended boluses overnight...  I have a tendency to eat late at night and am trying to refine my use of extended boluses...

The real reason for an extended bolus is to cover you for late peaking or dual peaking carbohydrates- like baked potatoes, pizza, spaghetti.... If you are eating late at night then your normal bolus should be fine, but you might need to adjust your insulin to carb ratio at night- because the lack of activity after eating (sleeping) may mean that you need more insulin at the time of the meal.
