Does anyone know why as a type 1 diabetic with sugars around 135, I would have days of feeling so dizzy and nauseous that all I can do is lie down? Does anyone else have this problem?

Have you checked your ketones? Is your blood pressure low? Did you get enough sleep the night before?

When we lived in the midwest I had sinus problems, infections 6 times a year, nothing to do with my diabetes, and would feel dizzy and nauseous. Since we moved to Ca the problem has disappeared.

Check with your Dr to find the cause of your problem.

My blood pressure does run low, but my endocrinologist said she  was not worried about it. I have been sleeping 9 or 10 hours a night. I hadn't thought about keytones. I will check as soon as I get the test strips. Thank you for your ideas!

maybe unrelated, an inner ear infection.

Thank you so much for this post! I went to the doctor and my symptoms were caused from an ear problem! I had liquid in my middle ear and all I needed was more allergy medication. I never would have figured that out without your post! Thank you so much!
