Tresiba is supposed to have a 42 hour life, manufactured by Novo Nordisk. From what I have read it while be awhile before it is available in the US, but India is supposed to have it soon.

Then the new Lantus/U300 which is supposed to decrease nightly lows, and have a flatter curve.

Dear Amrad:

Tresiba which is the brand name of degludec insulin was rejected by the FDA in February of 2013 because the FDA wanted more cardiovascular safety data.
