Nance, I tried some toasted for breakfast with some margarine and a small amount of apple butter.  The slices are about 3/4 the size of a regular piece of bread and after I little chewing they tend to go "mealy" in your mouth.  I still have to try them in a sandwich.  The taste is okay but that is just my opinion.  When you give them a try let me know what you think.

Nance, I replied a couple of days ago but I don't see it here.  Anyway, the rice bread is okay toasted for breakfast as long as I add some "flavor" like apple butter or jam or preserves.  Attention Food Police:  only a teaspoon of "flavor" per slice of bread.  The only thing I didn't care for was after chewing a few seconds the bread becomes mealy but you get used to that.  Without toasting it has very little flavor but if you have sworn off bread it may be a good substitute.  Thanks for the tip Nance, my mother-in-law was very greatful as was I.

Jen:  I love those round Arnold rolls, too.  They make a terrific sandwich.  Just the right size and the sandwich filling doesn't fall out, which I found to be a problem with some other "diet" breads.  Taste great.
