I have the forms and I am signing up to donate... my pancreas and some skin Wink

I call being in the study and donating part of my body my  'payback' for

surviving complication free for 51 years!!  How lucky can a person get?

Can others relate to this?

Hi Annette,

I've also donated whatever is needed for the study and then willed the rest of my body to Science Care for further research. It's the most useful way that I can say thanks for the care and research that has allowed me to live for the past 54 years with type 1. I'm grateful to have been given this opportunity, so yes, I certainly understand what you're saying.

Hello Jan ...

Nice hearing from someone else in the 'payback' mode of life Smile

Any way we can give back is, I feel, a real gift...

along with the JDRF Walk For The Cure.

I just feel so grateful and blessed.
