I know many of the old timers on this board have had some concerns about TOR.  We all know he had a heart attack, and then shortly aftwards stopped posting.  Well, Tor and I just had an email exchange.  He is doing ok, however unfortunately his wife Vida passed away, and he has been very distraught over it, and has not felt up to participating here.  Keep him in your prayers.

Thank you for the update.

Please give Tor my regards.  I am very sorry to hear of Vida's passing.  I wish Tor the very best and hope he can join us again when the time is right.  I believe its safe to say we all miss him.

Fred:  Thank you so much for keeping us up to date with Tor.  I am so very sorry to hear of Vida's death.  I will certainly keep Tor in my prayers and I can understand why he may not feel like jumping back into the forum just yet.

Fred, thanks for the update.  Please add my thoughts for Tor as well.  I really miss his postings, how sad to find the reason why he is not here on the boards.  Dee

I sensed something was not right. The news is surprising, and in reflection I can understand how Tor must feel. My feelings go out to you.

Fred,

Thank you so much for letting us know.  Please let Tor know that we're thinking about him and would welcome his return to these boards when he's up to it.

And Fred. . .We miss you, too.

Sad to hear about Tor's wife. Thanks for letting us know. Tor felt like part of the family here.

Like the rest of this Joslin posting board family, I am saddened to hear of Tor's loss and hope that he knows that we all are thinking of him and miss him here....perhaps you could convey to him that and also that coming here again might help him cope.

Thanks Fred.
