Thanks Ron that sounds like a plan. I see from the site that claims up to $25,000 can be settled in Small Claims Court in BC with a filing fee of just $156. I think that of the people involved - Vida who is dead, her inlaws who swooped in and stole all our stuff and the landlord that prevented me from protecting my stuff and allowed the inlaws access - the landlord is probably the obvious target. They are a corporation and have deeper pockets than my inlaws. Definitely something to think about.

Today was a very difficult day. My last hope as far as contacting my family was concerned was my brother in law who works on an oil platform in the North Sea. I phoned him via the onboard oil company radio 10 times over 2 days - in the end the radio operator said my BIL had said not to call again - he did not want to speak with me ever. So I am chopped liver as far as blood relatives as well as inlaws go.

I don't particularly enjoy being chopped liver so my inclination is to fight back and make them hurt as much as they have hurt me. I will start by developing and publishing a website devoted to my family and their betrayal of myself - as the pillars of society and righteousness they pretend to be, that will hit them where it hurts most once I send press releases about the site to all my previous colleagues in the Norwegian media (my family all live in Norway but the website will be hosted in Canada, out of the reach of their lawyers).

Hatred and vengeance are not good emotions but for now they are what are propping me up - as far as I am concerned my family came very close to driving me to suicide (I was actually on suicide watch for four days in hospital) and I survived no thanks to them. Biting back feels like a good therapy.
