I have written a variety of questions, but one I forget about is thirst....it seems remarkeable over the past couple weeks, hard to know....my blood sugars dont seem bad, but I dont know if thirst and high BS are connected....it could also be anxiety, but it seems pretty constant....Any thoughts

Thirst and frequent urination are the most common symptoms of diabetes. However, it typically happens when BG is quite high -- 250 to 300 range or higher.

Beachgirl:  Thirst can be a symptom of high glucose, but then again it may not be.  When I was diagnosed I never had that symptom beforehand.  I suspect that increased heat is the more likely culprit.  Or being anxious.

Good luck with your Joslin appointment.  You're going to be seen by the best there!  They should answer lots of your questions and put you on the right track.  Let us know how it turns out for you.
