Eye Doc Visit

Yesterday was my 6 month follow-up with the eye doc. Pressure was OK and he gave me a sample of a different eye drop to see if it has less side effects.  I had a visual field test which showed no change and a dilated exam, which he said shows no sign of diabetic eye disease, unless there is something subtle behind the cataract that he can't see, but he doesn't think this is true.  I definitely need new glasses, which I knew.  I keep having to put my current glasses back together, which is really difficult when you can't see to put them back together without having them on.  I don't have to go back for a year.  So all in all I'm happy.  I ordered a new pair of glasses complete with frams for about half of what I paid for my last pair of lenses alone. They should be ready in about ten days.

Dear Jen,

I'm glad your eye doctor appointment turned out well.  Thanks for reminding me, it's time for me to go!

Jen:  Glad you had a good eye exam.  Mine was recently and I got new glasses, too.  Whew!  What a difference!  My old glasses had somehow gotten out of align and the world was a pretty strange looking place there for a while.
