Someone said that soaking in a hot tub was bad for your feet. I walk 4 miles, then sit in the hot tub for 10 minutes, then swim for 20 minutes, then soak for 10 more minutes. Is it true that hot tubs are not good for diabetic feet? I have type 2 diabetes with no complications and good circulation.

The big concern for diabetics in hot tubs is if you have been diagnosed with neuropathy in your feet.  If the nerves are damaged you can't feel the increased heat and may accidentally damage the skin in that area.  Have regular foot check up done by your doctor and check your own feet daily.

I think the ultimate question is why are you soaking your feet constantly? There is not need, that will give you issues because of maceration and dryness (from excess washing).
