  • high activity = high blood sugar?

Hi, Has anyone else experienced this? If I run 2-4 miles, my blood sugar increases requiring1-2 units over the next 2 hours. If I work really hard in my yard (ex. splitting wood for 2-3 hrs), my sugar goes sky high into the 400's. I don't understand what is happening nor do I really understand what to do.
