    ok so i know that once u pierce a pen, that pen usually lasts around 28 days before it expires. what happens if u use an expired pen?? is the insulin not as effective? my dosage was lowered, therefore it takes longer for me to finish a novalog pen (like humalog) and i cannot remember when i opened my current pen. also, my numbers have been slightly

  • one touch ultra glucose monitor

    hi, i use one-touch ultra glucose monitor and i usually measure before meals. is it possible that these monitors can be faulty? i decided to check my level a few times at a moment and found the readings all different, first it was 127, then 120, then 117, all within the span of 10 seconds. i don't think this is normal. it also doesn't coincide

  • sugar-free but still carb

    i'm a little confused about sugar-free goodies. they are still around 15 grams carb per serving. so what's the deal? i have a tendency to OD on them...my sugar rises, a bit...but not as much as i would think...is it bad???? i need the low down on sugar-free goods!
