I am so sick of the 4 shots a day and expense that I am willing to try most anything. I have started to follow this diet and find it is so far the best. I am on insulin and a type 2 BUT on this diet can get off insulin and lose weight. So why not ? The best to remember is "If it tastes good, spit it out." Beyond that advice, Healthy low fat, good carbs, unprocecced foods. Do not eat huge portions. EXERCISE. Of course I do not DO what I say. Good Luck, Anne

I am a type 2 on insulin and YES, when my blood sugar is too high, I do tend to feel sick and everything seems to hurt. I also shake, which my Doctor insists only happens when too low. HE IS SO WRONG! He also says that something other than the diabetes causes the aches. I ask what then? I GET NO ANSWER. Anne
