I am still here too gang! I tell everyone that this board taught me everything I know about diabetes. So good to see these posts today and catch up with old friends. I am doing well, on a new medication, a once a week shot Bydureon. My A1C went from 7.7 in December to 6.1 recently. Loving retirement, keeping busy, and exercising a lot to keep as fit

  • Bydureon update

I have had my third Bydureon injection. I am getting a few BS readings out of range, mostly good control. I have had two very brief nausea episodes, quickly passing, and no other symptoms.I don't have the appetite suppression like I had with Byetta. I really like the weekly shot instead of twice daily, I have to remind myself to take my other meds

Shortie, my hubby was red as a lobster at least three nights a week while he took Niacin. I coudn't stand the medication either! I have the new generic Lipitor but I have to use up all my other first. I sure hope there are no fillers or additives to make me not be able to use it. I have tried other statins but this one is the gold standard for me

  • Bydureon

Is anyone planning to use Bydureon the new exenatide once a week fomula? I have been on Byetta 10 since 2006 and I have an appointment next week to discuss it with my endo @ Joslin. I am looking forward to less shots, even though I don't mind the twice daily injections that I do now. Improved A1C and weight loss are touted with the drug trials,
