  • Re: One Reason For Diabetic Foot Pain

Hi Tor Here in Ontario Chiropody is not on OHIP but if you're part of a doctors team which has footcare (sometimes nurses with "advanced footcare" but that's another topic) then you are OK. If your doctors health team is not got funding, then it is pay as you go in the private sector. But hospitals are very expensive to run and that

  • Re: Feet ulcer healing

When they are lying down in bed some people sleep on their backs, which then causes their heels to dig into the bed. If they do this routinely then a pressure sore can develop or prevent an ulcer from healing. It is predominantly seen within nursing homes. Hi Oxygen therapy is OK but you need a few things before that: 1- work out why she got the wound in the first place. If she sleeps on her heels, they are hitting a chair in the day...or something. Something caused it, find out what that is- that is a must. 2- if there is callus or a scab there that must be removed professionally because the sides of

  • Re: Diabetic Neurophaty - ReBuilder Treatment System

Hi You tend to find that painful diabetic feet are possibly one of a few reasons: your blood sugars are out. Neuropathy tends to be more severe when blood sugars are up and down. Get them level/ normal and then wait a few weeks. reduced blood flow can cause painful feet. Sometimes the flushing effect of beer might be causing temp relief, but never a
